Fertility Test for men

This male fertility test can be done at home (home fertility test) to measure the amount of sperm a man and soon will be marketed. The tool is designed for couples who are trying to do with conception and are reviewed by the Food and Drug Administration United States (Food and Drug Administration / FDA) in the United States.

Dr John Herr from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville who helped develop the device said this tool is perfect for couples trying to conceive for a couple of times but not yet ready to seek professional help.

“The test will show whether the man has fertility problems with a cheaper cost,” explained Herr.

Products will be marketed at a price of about $ 25. This price, according to Herr, much cheaper than the cost of semen analysis.

In his study, Herr and examined 225 samples in the results published in the journal Human Reproduction, Herr and his team reported that sperm fertility test (SpermCheck Fertility test) is 96 percent accurate.

The number of 20 million sperm per milliliter of semen or more, light Herr, expressed normal. And test results, he added, will indicate whether the number of male sperm meets these standards or actually below the standard (less than five million per milliliter of semen).

“This device is basically the source information male fertility,” explains Herr. And if both strip has negative then it is time for seeking medical help to overcome infertility.

This test, light Herr, works by detecting an antigen found on the surface of the sperm head, which is known as Sp-10
