Latest STUDY discovered that hand Sanitizer or antiseptic hand cleanser no better than ordinary soap in protecting us against the flu virus but did effectively prevent gastrointestinal problems or diseases related to stomach and intestines.
Scientists from the University of Virginia found that volunteers who use a hand Sanitizer has a 42 percent risk of flu virus, while those not using the thin-risk 51 percent. Then as many as 12 percent of volunteers who use a hand Sanitizer still contracted the flu virus, while those not using it and the flu as much as 15 percent.
“We had always assumed when you use a hand Sanitizer, would have significant effects,” said Dr. Ronald Turner, the leader of the research. For that, he argues further research is needed about how flu viruses spread from person to another. When the virus was spread through the air, rather than through physical contact, the level of flu-infected possibility of using hand Sanitizer and that does not mean the same thing.
