Hi. I’ve had a heavy for several years. Currently I am taking serevent and combivent for what doctors say will relieve my asthma. No one in my family has ever had asthma. The aforementioned medicine is not stopping the cough. One time I coughed so hard, I went blind in my left eye. A doctor said I suffered a stroke. I have little peripheral vision and little perception. Prior to my losing my eyesight, I coughed so hard I “fainted”. I noticed I suffered a forehead and wondered why I was on the floor. I’ve take just about everything to quiet the cough (even carrying around a bag full of lozengers). I plan on using a humidifier near my bed. The cough, snoring, talking in my sleep has my wife up in arms. What else can I do?
